Although I've watched the series about twice, I participated while feeling a sense of nostalgia.

When I first watched it, it was my first encounter with the Macross series, and I didn't know anything about the so-called "three main elements," so Otomon's viewing points, immediately trying to find the love triangle, were fresh and interesting. That's why for a while I thought Macross was a series where the protagonist sings.

Recently, anime usually ends in 12-13 episodes, so most of the explanation is given in the first episode, and the pacing is said to be fast, but anime from the past that aired for a whole year...
